Lines on the Copies?

Is there a line down the page while copying from the document feeder, but not off the glass?
Check/clean the stationary document feeder scanner glass.

Paper Jams-Paper

Causes...Unbelievable, BUT TRUE!!!
* Damp/wet paper from high humidity (summer rain & heat) causes the paper to stick together.
* Dry paper from low humidity (usually winter) cause static and paper sticking together.
* Paper imperfections: poor trimming leads to edges on the paper and not feeding properly.

To Resolve:

Wet or Dry Paper:
Open a fresh package of paper and take about 200 pages from the middle of the package.
Always fan the paper to put air between the pages. Place in paper tray.
To test, run copies or prints.
